Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali being focal person of Punjab university has attended the HUC meeting organized by HEC chaired by chairman HEC Dr Mukhtar Ahmed. Many Vice Chancellors and focal persons from Mountainous region of Pakistan participated in the meeting. LUMS and IBA Karachi joined as new members, Punjab university will join soon as full member of the HUC. The Himalayan University Consortium has its mandate in developing an effective, sustainable network of universities in the Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) region, in collaboration with academic, research, knowledge generating and exchange institutions both within and outside the HKH region.
